Dermal DNA Repair is a potent retinol formulation. Retinol (Vitamin A) is the proven repairer of dermal DNA damage and the type of retinol used, Retinaldehyde, is substantially less irritating to the dermis than pure retinols.

Retinol and the derivatives of Vitamin A are widely used for their ability to repair the dermis and reverse the effects of ageing, our Dermal DNA Repair is proven to physiologically alter damaged DNA so new cells are replicated in a healthier state. Converted to Retinoic Acid within the skin, it is stored in fat cells for a prolonged Vitamin release to ensure maximum repair and rebuilding is achieved. With it's ability to; produce new collagen, remove scar tissue, reduce acne congestion and for rosacea sufferers reduce the appearance of redness, the 0.5% Retinaldehyde that is used has an outstanding complacency rate or slow release so potential irritation in the skin is minimised.

One drop as step 2 nightly repair. Follow with step 3 dermal moisture. Do not rinse off.

Important: Retinaldehyde skin treatment should be introduced to your skin in increments, commencing twice in the first week, 3 times in the second week, 4 times in the third week etc.

Indications Dermal DNA Repair is designed to deliver retinaldehyde more effectively into the areas of the dermis that give a better DNA repair results without the damage to the surface of the skin that irritation causes. This also insures the other actives have the ability to work in synergy to instigate advanced epidermal remodeling and collagen stimulation.

Containing two (2) potent yet stable forms of vitamin A, the benefits are extensive for anti-ageing and rejuvenation. Retinoids are used for normalising and regulating keratinocyte proliferation and differentiation.

Visible changes are noticed very early with the skin revealing a more even toned and hydrated or more luminous appearance. This is thought to be from the action of desquamation of the epidermis. Retinoids also inhibit UV induced pigmentation as it is a known tyrosinase inhibitor.

Vitamin A is known as the ultimate normaliser in the dermaceutical sphere because it has multifactoral benefits on the epidermis and the dermis. The indications for its use are the following conditions: photo-ageing, fine rhytids, acne, rough and thickened skins, vascular insufficiency, thin and fragile skins, pigmentation issues (eg Melasma, Chloasma), post inflammatory hyperpigmentaion (eg. scarring), dermographic skin conditions (eg. eczema, dermatitis), and rosacea
